If you’re reading this WE ARE OPEN from 7am-3pm everyday at our front door for to-go only. we have fresh bread, coffee, flour, produce, sourdough starter, eggs, milk, granola and a bunch of other goodies, come on by The Mill at 736 Divisadero St SF, CA. and please stay safe & healthy <3

Swing by The Mill to see what's coming outta the oven, but we should have most of the breads below most days. While we do our best to bake as many loaves as we can, we do sometimes run out... please be kind if we don't have the loaf of your dreams, and maybe take it as a sign that you should try a bread you've never tried before.

And The Mill isn’t the only place to find our bread, we work with a bunch of restaurants and markets around the Bay Area.

as of Fall 2015, all of our whole grain wheat is grown here in California, just a few hours from the bakery! A very exciting development for us, years in the making. All of our breads are made with 100% organic flours & grains and are free of pesticides and glyphosate. We mill all of our whole grain flours fresh in the bakery daily, and all loaves are made with the same sourdough culture that Josey got from his great, great grandmother. If you’re curious to know more about how we make our bread, you can read all about it here.

***super detailed griddle cake preparation instructions (you can make it work with just water, like i have done many times out in the woods!)

mix this all together:

  • 1 cup griddle cake mix

  • 3/4 cup milk

  • 2 Tbsp sugar 

  • 2 Tbsp melted butter

  • 1 large egg 

  • 1/4 tsp vanilla

stir it all up & make some griddle cakes!
